Short description Morphology | Morphometrics

Dorsal soft rays (total): 11-12; Anal soft rays: 8 - 9. Dark spots on dorsal fin do not form a continuous band across rays; anal fin of males with small spots, without larger blotches on the anterior portion. Fourth or fifth ray of pectoral fin longest, not reaching or just reaching to pelvic-fin origin. Third fin ray of pelvic fin longest, reaching area between anal opening and anal fin origin or reaching anal fin origin (Ref. 27672).
