Remark: Not a very good photo. Rock sole appear to be most common in shallow water in Belcarra Bay during the period between late May and late June. Caught sporadically outside this time. A Crude analysis of stomach contents was performed--> Intestine and stomach full (almost bursting!)--> One 6 cm coonstriped shrimp, 3-4 tiny nuttall's cockles, 1 small scallop, and the rest are bits and pieces of various species of clams and snails. WHAT A MEAL!!
