Body with 7 blackish bars and 5 discontinuous dark stripes; throat with white round spots (orange in like) in male, dark grey in female; 3-4 black spots on lower margin of cheek in adult male; black spot at pectoral base (Ref. 43281); predorsal scales 8-9 (Ref. 79602).
Inhabits small forest creeks (Ref. 43281).
