Diagnosis |
Diagnosis: Dorsal fin rays III, 130-134. Pectoral fin rays I, 10; anterior margin of pectoral fin spine not serrate. Anal fin rays I, 98-102; first anal spine base situated below 36th-39th dorsal fin rays. Total vertebrae 165-171; highest point of supraoccipital situated vertically above posterior margin of eye; vertebrae of posterior caudal peduncle bearing neural spines. Spinescent gill rakers with 2 equally long cusps. Horizontal distance between the posterior margin of dermal eye and the origin of the first dorsal spine shorter (73-75% of eye diameter: ED, mean 74%) than eye diameter when viewed laterally. Precaudal peduncle length 82-84% TL; preanal length 25-27% TL; caudal peduncle length 15-17% TL; head length 9% TL; upper jaw length 3-4% TL; predorsal length 6% TL (Ref. 54821). |
