Body slender. Pre-pelvic scute not strongly keeled, beginning behind base of last pectoral fin ray. Maxilla blade about 2.25 times as long as its shaft, but not continued forward to hind tip of pre-maxilla; second supra-maxilla diamond-shaped or more or less rhomboidal, approximately symmetrical. Lower gill rakers long and slender. A silver stripe along flanks. Snout narrow, appears concave when viewed from above. |
