Definition of Term

xerography
(english) According to the Code, any method of producing numerous identical copies based upon an electrostatic process; copies produced in this way are commonly known as 'Xerox copies' or 'photocopies'. Not a method included within the definitions of conventional printing. (See also: Code)
xérographie
(french) Selon le Code, toute méthode de production de nombreuses copies identiques basée sur un procédé électrostatique ; les copies obtenues de cette manière sont communément connues sous le nom de 'xerox' ou de 'photocopies'.
