May be carried out by hand or by mechanical devices, 2)an apparatus for setting gill nets under ice which bounces the end of the net from an entry hole to another hole a net's distance away, 3)meshed walls at the entrance to salmon traps to turn back fish trying to escape, 4)the outer, heart-shaped container of a fish trap.
