Symptoms: Swollen belly, sluggish, swimming at surface, cease to feed, worms visible through intestine and s.t. perforation of the wall, length: > 80 or max. 320 mm(SCHAEP.)- > 150-200 mm (AMLACHER), width:1.2 or 4 mm, enlarged gall bladdder filled tightly.   
Treatments: Niclosamid 200 mg/kg for 1 day, 100 to 200 mg/kg next day.  
Prophylaxis: Disinfection using CaO.
