Short description

Dorsal spines (total): 8; Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-11; Anal spines: 1; Anal soft rays: 7 - 10. Can be diagnosed by having the following characters: dorsal fin rays VII +I,9-11; anal fin rays I,7-10; pectoral fin rays 13-15; branched caudal fin rays 14-15; lateral scale rows 34-42, transverse scale rows 10-13; zigzag scale rows on caudal peduncle 9; and gill rakers on first arch 1-2 + 5-8 (Ref. 77038).
