Dorsal spines (total): 1; Dorsal soft rays (total): 13; Anal soft rays: 8. Diagnosis: mouth storngly curved; two pairs of barbels; last unbranched dorsal fin ray strongly ossified and inflexible; pelvic fin inserts below middle of dorsal fin; 25 or fewer scales in lateral line (Ref. 81639).
