 Max. size:  10 cm SL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  demersal
 Distribution:  Asia: known thus far only from the Vogelkop Peninsula in Irian Jaya, Indonesia.
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 7-7; Dorsal soft rays (total): 10-10; Anal spines: 1-1; Anal soft rays: 10-10
 Biology:  Found mainly in turbid river channels and small tidal creeks on mud and sand bottoms. Occurs occasionally in clear rainforest streams.
