 Family:  Phosichthyidae (Lightfishes)
 Max. size:  20.9 cm SL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  bathydemersal; depth range 545 - 600 m
 Distribution:  Southeast Pacific: known only from two seamounts of the Sala y Gomez Ridge and southeastern Pacific.
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 11-13; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 29-31; Vertebrae: 45-46. Pyloric caeca 7-8; photophores above anal fin 16-17; presence of 9 photophores in both ventroanal series and 20 trunk vertebrae (Ref. 41740).
