 Family:  Agonidae (Poachers), subfamily: Agoninae
 Max. size:  29 cm TL (male/unsexed); max.weight: 192.0 g; max. reported age: 6 years
 Environment:  demersal; depth range 8 - 432 m, oceanodromous
 Distribution:  Northwest Pacific: Japan Sea, south to Kasumi, Japan and Wonsan, Korea; Pacific coast of Hokkaido; Sea of Okhotsk; Avatcha Bay of eastern Kamchatka.
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Occurs primarily along the shelf and makes considerable seasonal migrations to its boundary and upper zone of the continental slope where they overwinter (Ref. 6373).
 IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated  (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
