 Family:  Paraulopidae (Cucumber fishes)
 Max. size:  25 cm FL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  demersal; depth range 50 - 600 m
 Distribution:  Southwest Pacific: Australia and New Zealand.
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  A temperate, generally demersal species found on the continental shelf and slope (Ref. 9563; 7300). Inhabits sandy to muddy bottoms (Ref. 41636).
 IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated  (Ref. 96402)
