 Family:  Cyprinidae (Minnows or carps), subfamily: ex-danioninae
 Max. size:  20 cm SL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  pelagic; pH range: 6 - 7.19999980926514; dH range: 2 - 15
 Distribution:  Asia: Thailand to Indonesia. Found in the Mekong River.
 Diagnosis:  With submarginal stripes on caudal fin (Ref. 12693).
 Biology:  Found at the surface of small mountain rivers with complete or nearly complete forest canopy. Diet consists largely of exogenous insects and chironomid larvae. Very rare in fish markets (Ref. 12693, 57235).
