 Max. size:  33 cm TL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  bathydemersal; depth range 200 - 500 m
 Distribution:  Southeast Atlantic: southern Namibia (Ref. 27121) and between Saldanha Bay to northwest of Cape Town in South Africa.
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 7-7; Dorsal soft rays (total): 15-15; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 17-19
