 Family:  Pleuronectidae (Righteye flounders), subfamily: Poecilopsettinae
 Max. size:  9 cm TL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  demersal; depth range 108 - 180 m
 Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: Bali, Indonesia; probably southwest coast of India.
 Diagnosis:  Body depth 2.2 to 2.4 times in SL. Pectoral fin on eyed side only about 1/2 as long as head. One tentacle present on each eye (Ref 12933).
 Biology:  Feeds on small benthic animals.
 IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated  (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
