 Distribution:  South America: Atrato and San Juan River basins.
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Feeds on worms and crustaceans (Ref. 7020). Aquarium keeping: in groups of 5 or more individuals; minimum aquarium size 80 cm (Ref. 51539).
