 Distribution:  Asia: western Borneo (Ref. 7050) and Sumatra, Indonesia (Ref. 13275).
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Usually found in streams with gravel or stony substrate and a moderate current (Ref. 56749). Juveniles occur over muddy substrate under forest cover (Ref. 56749). Feeds on insect larvae (Ref. 56749).
