 Environment:  pelagic; pH range: 6 - 7.5; dH range: 12
 Distribution:  Africa: mainly in the northern and northeastern Congo River basin (Ubangi, Uélé, Aruwimi, Itimbiri, Lindi and Wagenia Falls) in Democratic Republic of the Congo (Ref. 1878, 4910, 41590, 45441, 46861, 48960) and Central African Republic (Ref. 45441), but also recorded from the upper Lualaba in Democratic Republic of the Congo (Ref. 2970).
