 Family:  Labrisomidae (Labrisomids)
 Max. size:  7.5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  reef-associated; depth range 6 - 23 m
 Distribution:  Eastern Pacific: Gulf of California to Peru, including the Galapagos Islands.
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Lives in rocky, boulder strewn areas and walls. Prefers tide pools and shallow water habitats (Ref. 5227).
 IUCN Red List Status:   (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
