 Family:  Gobiidae (Gobies), subfamily: Gobiinae
 Max. size:  4.5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  reef-associated; depth range 1 - 40 m
 Distribution:  Southeast Pacific: Galapagos Islands.
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Tiny, bold and aggressive fish (Ref. 28023) which lives in small recesses of rocky reefs, slopes and walls (Ref. 5227). Feeds on various small crustaceans (Ref. 28023).
 IUCN Red List Status: Vulnerable (D2) (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
