 Max. size:  11 cm SL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  demersal; depth range 0 - 1 m
 Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: southern Australia.
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 32-36; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 36-37. Sandy color on dorsally; matches sand types in color and pattern (Ref. 9002).
 Biology:  Inhabits turbulent sandy beach zones (Ref. 9002).
 IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated  (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
