Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Anal spines: 0-0. Eyes relatively large; posterior nostril immediately anterior to eye. Lateral line system on head with pit organs but no pores. Pyloric caeca 8 to 13. |
Epibenthic (Ref. 58426). Feeds mainly on crustaceans but also on polychaetes. Caught singly but also in aggregations of more than 100 individuals (Ref. 1371). |
