 Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-9; Anal soft rays: 7-7
 Biology:  Inhabits pebble-covered bottoms of shallow, fast flowing streams, less than 80 cm deep and about 1-3 m wide. Feeds on insect larvae, algae and plant matter.
