 Family:  Cobitidae (Loaches), subfamily: Cobitinae
 Max. size:  8.9 cm SL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  demersal, non-migratory
 Distribution:  Asia: endemic to rivers flowing to the east coast of Kyong-sangbuk-do, southeastern Korea.
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Usually in clear, slow moving shallow water over sand or small pebbles, or stagnant areas along upper and middle river courses. The species consumes a wide variety of food, including most aquatic algae, small crustaceans and aquatic insect larvae. The spawning season is supposed to be in May.
 IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated  (Ref. 96402)
