 Max. size:  3.6 cm SL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  pelagic; depth range - 0 m
 Distribution:  Asia: southern Borneo, Indonesia.
 Diagnosis:  Can be distinguished by the following characters: small size (maximum size 35.5 mm SL), few pectoral, usually 8; 13-15 dorsal fin rays; and anterior position of the anal fin origin, usually under dorsal-fin ray 5 or 6 (Ref. 26761).
