 Max. size:  8.9 cm TL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  demersal
 Distribution:  Southeast Pacific to Southwest Atlantic: Southeast Pacific: Peru and Chile (Ref. 5530), including Juan Fernández Is. (Ref. 89357); Southwest Atlantic: Argentina and Uruguay (Ref. 2806).
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 13-13; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 11-11
 Biology:  Not syntopic with Sicyases brevirostris (Guichenot, 1848) in Juan Fernández Is. (Ref. 89357).
 IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated  (Ref. 96402)
