 Family:  Nothobranchiidae (African rivulines)
 Max. size:  6.5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  benthopelagic; pH range: 6 - 7.2; dH range: 5 - 8, non-migratory
 Distribution:  Africa: Cross River and the lower part of the Beno.
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Occurs in brooks, swamps, polls and streams in the humid forested and highland savanna and rainforest (Ref. 3788). Not a seasonal killifish. Bottom spawner, 1 month incubation (Ref. 27139). Aquarium keeping: minimum aquarium size 60 cm (Ref. 51539).
 IUCN Red List Status: Near Threatened  (Ref. 96402)
