 Distribution:  Western Central Atlantic: Florida, USA and the Gulf of Mexico to Nicaragua.
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Oviparous (Ref. 50449). Eggs have horn-like projections on the shell (Ref. 205).
 IUCN Red List Status: Data deficient  (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
