 Distribution:  Western Atlantic: off St. Croix, Caribbean Sea.
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 22-24; Anal soft rays: 33-35. Barbel with no adornments except a single terminal bulb with one or three short filaments (Ref. 37473).
