 Family:  Cheilodactylidae (Morwongs)
 Max. size:  65 cm TL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  reef-associated; depth range - 30 m
 Distribution:  Western Pacific: eastern Australia and northeastern New Zealand.
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Adults found on exposed rocky reefs down to about 30 m; juveniles on coastal reefs, amongst algae.
 IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated  (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
