 Max. size:  13 cm SL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  bathydemersal; depth range 100 - 400 m
 Distribution:  Western Pacific: Japan and the Philippines.
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 75-81; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 49-56. Head with scales. Pseudobranches with 2 small filaments. Three gill rakers developed on 1st arch. Attains 13 cm SL.
 Biology:  Rare species (Ref. 34024). Taken in bottom trawls (Ref. 34024).
 IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated  (Ref. 96402)
