 Family:  Malacanthidae (Tilefishes), subfamily: Latilinae
 Max. size:  25.5 cm SL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  bathydemersal; depth range - 202 m
 Distribution:  Eastern Indian Ocean: known from a locality 190 km northwest of Port Hedland, Western Australia.
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Benthic species which occurs over soft bottom of the continental shelf (Ref. 75154).
 IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated  (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
