 Family:  Congridae (Conger and garden eels), subfamily: Bathymyrinae
 Max. size:  53 cm TL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  demersal
 Distribution:  Northwest Pacific: Japan, Taiwan, and the East China Sea.
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Widespread in sandy areas. A carnivore that feeds on fish and crabs (Ref. 9137).
 IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated  (Ref. 96402)
