 Family:  Nothobranchiidae (African rivulines)
 Max. size:  6 cm TL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  benthopelagic; pH range: 6 - 7; dH range: 5 - 12, non-migratory
 Distribution:  Africa: lower Mitémele river drainage in southern Equatorial Guinea and the Mbei, Komo, Gabon, Abanga and lower Ogowe river drainages in northwestern Gabon.
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Occurs in swamps, brooks and small streams in the coastal rainforest (Ref. 3788). Not a seasonal killifish. Is easy to maintain in the aquarium (Ref. 27139).
 IUCN Red List Status:   (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
