Remarks | This is NOT a name for Argyrosomus regius. It's reffers to Pagrus coeruleostictus. It was connected to hama (Argyrosomus regius) by Vinja 1986, I 418 which gave a wron identification for both names- Dentex gibbossus. Also wrong identified by Lipovac-Raduloviæ 1997, Lipovac- Raduloviæ 1998 (Rhombus maximus). The word has nothing to do with Serbian hama, which is a loanword from Albanian. |
